Juz 15
The Cave (Al-Kahf)
110 verses, revealed in Mecca after Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah) before The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(All) praise is due to Allah, Who revealed the Book to His servant and did not make in it any crookedness. (1) right, to warn of great violence from Him, and to give good tidings unto the believers, who do righteous deeds, that theirs shall be a goodly wage (2) They shall abide therein forever. (3) And that it may warn those who say: God hath taken a son. (4) No knowledge thereof have they, nor had their fathers. Odious is the word that cometh out of their mouths; they say not but a lie. (5) Yet perchance, if they believe not in this tiding, thou wilt consume thyself, following after them, of grief. (6) We have caused earthly things to seem attractive so that We can see who will excel in good deeds. (7) And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground. (8) Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder? (9) (Remember) when the young men fled for refuge (from their disbelieving folk) to the Cave, they said: "Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!" (10) And thereupon We veiled their ears in the cave for many a year, (11) Then We raised them up that We might know which of the two parties was best able to compute the time for which they remained. (12)
