Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence. (21) The day when they will see the angels that day will not be of any happiness for the guilty and they will cry, “O God, erect a barrier between us and them!” (22) We shall advance upon what work they have done, and make it a scattered dust. (23) The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. (24) On that Day, the heaven is split asunder with clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, (25) on that Day [it will become obvious to all that] true sovereignty belongs to the Most Gracious [alone]: hence, a Day of distress will it be for all who deny the truth, (26) And the day when the unjust will gnaw his hands, saying, “Alas, if only I had chosen a way along with the (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)!” (27) Woe to us! Would that we had not been friends with so and so. (28) “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. (29) And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule." (30) Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help. (31) And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly. (32) And they come not unto thee with a similitude but We bring thee the truth and an excellent interpretation. (33) Those who will be gathered into Gehenna (Hell) upon their faces shall be in the worst in place, and have gone further astray from the Path. (34)
