Hizb 37
Juz 19
۞ And those who do not hope for Our meeting, say: Why have not angels been sent down upon us, or (why) do we not see our Lord? Now certainly they are too proud of themselves and have revolted in great revolt. (21) [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, "By a forbidding ban [are we from God's grace debarred]!" (22) Then We shall turn to what they had done and render it vain like scattered dust. (23) Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. (24) The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- (25) The dominion on that Day shall be the true dominion of the Compassionate, and it shall be a day upon the infidels hard. (26) The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. (27) Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! (28) he made me forgetful of the warning after it had reached me. Satan is man's great betrayer." (29) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. (30) To every Prophet We have appointed an enemy among the harmdoers; your Lord is Sufficient for you, a Guide and a Helper. (31) Now they who are bent on denying the truth are wont to ask. "Why has not the Qur'an been bestowed on him from on high in one single revelation?" [it has been revealed] in this manner so that We might strengthen thy heart thereby - for We have so arranged its component parts that they form one consistent whole (32) There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. (33) (As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path. (34)
