Juz 19
۞ Those who have no desire to meet Us have said, "Would that the angels had been sent to us or that we could see our Lord." They are really filled with pride and have committed the greatest and worst kind of rebellion and hostility. (21) The day they see the angels there will be no happy tidings for the sinners; and they will say: "There is an insurmountable barrier!" (22) and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. (23) And for the People of the Garden on that day is a better destination and account, and a better place of afternoon rest. (24) And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. (25) the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. (26) On the day when the wrong-doer gnaweth his hands, he will say: Ah, would that I had chosen a way together with the messenger (of Allah)! (27) "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! (28) "He did lead me astray from the Message (of Allah) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!" (29) And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned." (30) Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper. (31) Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. (32) And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Quran), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof. (33) Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. (34)
