Juz 19
۞ And those who look not for a meeting with Us say: Why are angels not sent down unto us and (Why) do we not see our Lord! Assuredly they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride. (21) The day when they will see the angels that day will not be of any happiness for the guilty and they will cry, “O God, erect a barrier between us and them!” (22) And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed. (23) The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. (24) And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending. (25) and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. (26) On the Day when the wrong-doer shall gnaw his hands saying: would that I had taken with the apostle a way! (27) O, woe to me! Would that I had not chosen so and so for a friend! (28) He led me astray from the Remembrance after it had reached me, satan is ever the foresaker of humans' (29) And the Apostle will say: my Lord! verily my people took this Qur'an as a thing to be shunned. (30) Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. (31) Those who deny the truth say, "Why was the Quran not sent down to him in a single revelation?" We sent it in this manner, so that We might strengthen your heart. We gave it to you in gradual revelation. (32) And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (33) Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. (34)
