Juz 19
۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Why are no angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" They are full of self-conceit and behave with intense arrogance. (21) On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." (22) for We shall have turned towards all the [supposedly good] deeds they ever wrought, and shall have transformed them into scattered dust (23) The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. (24) Upon the day that heaven is split asunder with the clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, (25) true sovereignty on that Day will belong to the Gracious One, and it will be a hard Day for those who deny the truth. (26) On the Day when the wrong-doer shall gnaw his hands saying: would that I had taken with the apostle a way! (27) O woe is me! would that I had not taken such a one for a friend! (28) He verily led me astray from the Reminder after it had reached me. Satan was ever man's deserter in the hour of need. (29) The Messenger says, 'O my Lord, behold, my people have taken this Koran as a thing to be shunned.' (30) Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper. (31) And those who disbelieve say: wherefore is the Qur'an not revealed unto him entire at once! Thus - We reveal - that We may establish thy heart therewith; and We have repeated it with a repetition. (32) And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. (33) Those who shall be mustered to Gehenna upon their faces -- they shall be worse in place, and gone further astray from the way. (34)
