Juz 19
۞ And those who do not expect to meet Us said, “Why were the angels not sent down to us or we been able to see our Lord?” Indeed they thought too highly of themselves and they turned extremely rebellious. (21) The Day they see the angels,- no joy will there be to the sinners that Day: The (angels) will say: "There is a barrier forbidden (to you) altogether!" (22) We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. (23) The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. (24) And on the Day on which the skies, together with the clouds, shall burst asunder, and the angels are made to descend in a mighty descent (25) The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers. (26) and a Day on which the evildoer will bite his hands [in despair,] exclaiming: "Oh, would that I had followed the path shown to me by the apostle! (27) Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! (28) He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." (29) The Messengers will say, "Lord, my people had abandoned this Quran." (30) Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper. (31) The unbelievers say: "Why was the whole Qur'an not sent down all at once to him?" It was sent thus that We may keep your heart resolute. So We enunciated it by steps and distinctly. (32) And they bring thee no similitude but We bring thee the Truth (as against it), and better (than their similitude) as argument. (33) Those who will be gathered into Gehenna (Hell) upon their faces shall be in the worst in place, and have gone further astray from the Path. (34)
