Juz 19
This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: (192) Which the True Spirit hath brought down (193) to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), (194) in clear Arabic speech. (195) This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. (196) Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? (197) And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, (198) And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. (199) Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. (200) they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering (201) so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, (202) Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? (203) Seek haste then they with our torment? (204) Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years (205) And then cometh that which they were promised, (206) (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? (207) And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned (208) To warn. For We are never unjust. (209) Not by the Satans has it been brought down; (210) for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: (211) Indeed they have been banished from the place of hearing. (212) So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. (213) and warn your nearest kinsmen; (214) And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. (215) Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" (216) Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, (217) who sees you when you stand (218) And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). (219) Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. (220) Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? (221) They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, (222) They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. (223) And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. (224) Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] (225) And they say what they do not do, (226) Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged*; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned**. (* The Muslim poets who praise Allah and the Prophet. ** The disbelievers will be punished.) (227)
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
