93 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Poets (Alshu'araa') before Stories (Al-Qasas)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta Sin. These are verses from the Quran, a book that makes things clear; (1) a guidance, and good tidings unto the believers (2) Who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate, and of the Hereafter they are convinced. (3) Verily those who believe not in the Hereafter - fairseeming unto them We have made their works, so that they wander perplexed. (4) Such are those for whom there is an evil punishment, and in the Everlasting Life are the greatest losers. (5) Lo! as for thee (Muhammad), thou verily receivest the Qur'an from the presence of One Wise, Aware. (6) When Musa said to his family: Surely I see fire; I will bring to you from it some news, or I will bring to you therefrom a burning firebrand so that you may warm yourselves. (7) So when he reached it, it was proclaimed, “Blessed is he who is in the location of the fire (Moosa) and those who are close to it (the angels); and Purity is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation.” (8) Moses, it is I, Allah, the Almighty, the Wise. (9) Cast down your staff' And when he saw it writhing like a serpent, he turned about retreating, and did not turn back. 'Moses, do not fear, indeed the Messengers do not fear (when they are) with Me, (10) save him who has done evil, then; after evil, has changed into good; All-forgiving am I, All-compassionate. (11) "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." (12) And when Our signs came as distinct proofs, they said: "This is only magic." (13) And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters. (14)
