Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon) before The Mountain (Al-Toor)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Alif-Lam-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) (1) This Book has beyond all doubt been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. (2) What! They dare say that, “He has fabricated it”? In fact it is the Truth from your Lord, in order that you warn a nation towards whom no Herald of Warning came before you, in the hope of their attaining guidance. (3) It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded? (4) He disposeth every affair from the heaven unto the earth; thereafter it shall ascend unto Him in a Day the measure whereof is one thousand years of that which ye compute. (5) Such is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Merciful. (6) who has created all things well. And He originated the creation of man out of clay, (7) Then kept his posterity with a part of an abject fluid. (8) Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. (9) They say, "When we are lost in the earth, how can we then be recreated?" Indeed, they deny they will ever meet their Lord. (10) ۞ Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned." (11)
