Initiator (Faater)
45 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan) before Mary (Maryam)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who appointeth the angels messengers having wings two, three and four. He multiplieth in creation what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things. (1) Whatever Mercy Allah accords to people, none can withhold; and whatever He withholds, no other will be able to release after Him. He is Most Mighty, Most Wise. (2) People, remember the bounty of God that He has granted to you. Is their any creator besides God who could provide you with sustenance from the heavens and the earth? He is the only God. Where then can you turn away? (3) And if they call you a liar, truly apostles before you were called liars, and to Allah are all affairs returned. (4) O mankind! verily the promise of Allah is true. So let not the life of the world beguile you, and with respect to Allah let not beguile you the great beguiler. (5) Satan is certainly your enemy, so hold him as a foe. He only calls his faction to be the residents of Hell. (6) For the unbelievers awaits a terrible punishment, but for those who believe and do good deeds is forgiveness and a great recompense. (7)
