Hizb 53
Juz 27
Hath there come unto thee the story of Ibrahim's honoured guests? (24) When they came to him they said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" [saying to himself]. "They are strangers." (25) Then he turned quietly to his household, and brought forth a fat [roasted] calf, (26) and he laid it before them saying, 'Will you not eat?' (27) Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism). (28) Then his wife drew near vociferating, and smote her face, and said: an old barren woman! (29) They said: even so saith thine Lord. Verily He! He is the Wise, the Knower. (30) ۞ Said he, 'And what is your business, envoys?' (31) They replied: 'We are sent to a sinful nation, (32) “To throw upon them stones of baked clay.” (33) They are transgressors in the presence of your Lord". (34) So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers. (35) We found in it only one household of true believers -- (36) And We kept a sign remaining in it, for those who fear the painful punishment. (37) AND IN [the story of Pharaoh and] Moses, too, [We left the same message: for] when We sent him unto Pharaoh with [Our] manifest authority, (38) But he turned his back, he and his courtiers, and said, "This is a sorcerer or a madman." (39) So We seized him and his hosts and hurled them into the sea and he was blamable. (40) And [you have the same message] in [what happened to the tribe of] Ad, when We let loose against them that life-destroying wind (41) that left nothing that it came upon without reducing it to rubble. (42) And in (the tribe of) Thamud (there is a portent) when it was told them: Take your ease awhile. (43) In response they rebelled against their Lord’s command, so the thunderbolt seized them whilst they were watching. (44) They were unable to stand up, nor were they helped. (45) And the people of Nuh We destroyed aforetime; verily they were a people transgressing. (46)
