Hizb 53
Juz 27
AND HAS the story of Abraham's honoured guests ever come within thy ken? (24) When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown. (25) Then he turned aside to his family secretly and brought a fat (roasted) calf, (26) He set it before them, saying: 'Will you not eat' (27) He began to feel afraid. They said, "Do not be afraid," and then gave him the glad news of the birth of a knowledgeable son. (28) Then came forward his wife, clamouring, and she smote her face, and said, 'An old woman, barren!' (29) They said: "Even so says your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower." (30) ۞ (Abraham) said: And (afterward) what is your errand, O ye sent (from Allah)? (31) They replied: “Behold, we have been sent to a wicked people (32) So as to let loose clods of clay on them (33) Sent forth from your Lord for the extravagant. (34) We saved all the faithful in the town. (35) But We did not find therein save a (single) house of those who submitted (the Muslims). (36) And We left there a Sign for such as fear the Grievous Penalty. (37) And also in Moses, when We sent him unto Pharaoh, with a clear authority, (38) But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman." (39) So We seized him and his hosts and hurled them into the sea and he was blamable. (40) In 'Ad (also is a sign), when We sent a blasting wind against them, (41) It spared naught that it reached, but made it (all) as dust. (42) There is also a Sign for you in (the story of) Thamud. They were told: “Enjoy yourselves for a while.” (43) after they had turned with disdain from their Sustainer's commandment - whereupon the thunderbolt of punishment overtook them while they were [helplessly] looking on: (44) They were unable to stand up, nor were they helped. (45) So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed. (46)
