81 The Rolling
Al-Takweer
Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, (1) And when the stars fall, (2) And when the mountains shall made to pass away; (3) when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, (4) And when wild animals are herded together. (5) And when the seas are filled with flame (6) And when the souls he paired, (7) And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (8) For what sin she was killed? (9) when the records of men's deeds are laid open, (10) The curtain drawn back from the skies, (11) And when the hell is kindled up, (12) and Paradise brought nigh: (13) Every soul will then come know what it has brought. (14) I swear by the receding stars, (15) That run their course (and) hide themselves, (16) The closing night, (17) and the morn as it breathes. (18) Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, (19) having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, (20) obeyed, and honest. (21) Nor is your companion distracted. (22) he truly saw him on the clear horizon; (23) Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. (24) Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, (25) Whither then will you go? (26) Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: (27) For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, (28) But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
