Juz 30
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, (1) and when the stars lose their light, (2) when the mountains shall be set in motion, (3) when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, (4) and when all beasts are gathered together, (5) And when the seas are set afire. (6) when the souls are coupled (to their body), (7) when the buried infant shall be asked (8) for what crime she had been slain, (9) when the records of men's deeds are laid open, (10) The curtain drawn back from the skies, (11) And when hell is further enflamed. (12) when Paradise is brought close: (13) A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. (14) No! I swear by the slinkers, (15) the runners, the sinkers, (16) and the night that falls, (17) And by the morning when it shineth forth, (18) it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, (19) who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, (20) With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. (21) Nor is your companion distracted. (22) And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). (23) and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. (24) Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. (25) where then are you going? (26) It is naught but a reminder for the nations, (27) to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. (28) And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. (29)
Almighty God's Truth.
