Hizb 60
Juz 30
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, (1) Who createth, then disposeth; (2) who determined and guided, (3) And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, (4) then turns it into black stubble. (5) We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, (6) unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. (7) We shall ease you to the easy. (8) Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. (9) in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] (10) but the most wretched shall avoid it, (11) who will roast in the Great Fire, (12) wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. (13) Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, (14) And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. (15) No; but you prefer the present life, (16) although the life to come is better and more enduring. (17) This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, (18) Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. (19)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
