Juz 30
Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Hath there come unto thee tidings of the Overwhelming? (1) On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, (2) Labouring (hard), weary,- (3) roasting at a scorching Fire (4) Given water from the boiling spring to drink. (5) No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, (6) which neither sustains, nor satisfy hunger. (7) (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, (8) Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism). (9) in a garden sublime, (10) Never hearing idle talk. (11) In it there shall be a flowing spring, (12) raised couches, (13) And goblets ready placed! (14) And cushions set in a row, (15) And linen spread out. (16) Have they not looked at how the camel is created, (17) And the heavens, how it was raised high; (18) And the mountains: how they were fixed? (19) And at the Earth, how it is spread out? (20) (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. (21) Thou art not at all a warder over them. (22) But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, (23) So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. (24) Surely to Us is their turning back, (25) Then indeed only upon Us is their reckoning. (26)
Almighty Allah's Truth.
